I’ve been writing every day for about a week or two and I have discovered that I still tend to spend too much time editing while I’m typing maybe if typing didn’t take so much concentration I would be able to just type faster. Unfortunately I’m not a good typist so I spend a lot of time watching the keyboard. I’m sure I can improve this with practice. The fact of the matter is I need to be a better typist.
I haven’t really gotten the hang of it yet. The fact of the matter is the computer encourages you to be sloppy the ease with which you can correct typing errors. It makes them(errors) of less consequence than they were when you had to white them out or retype errors.
l am getting better but I’m thinking about using dragon naturally speaking to see if I can increase my speed. and accuracy. Wouldn’t IT be a shame if i couldn’t typE fast and couldn’t get dragon to work because I slurred my speEch. Well I’ll find out as soon as I get a copy of dragon.
I going to wrap this writing session up and see if I can get so other work done. There seem to be no doubt that I’m faster that the last time but I have to remember to keep my eyes of the keyboard.
